The Euro-Brazil FIRE Collaboration Workshop will be organized in Sao paulo, Brazil, on 13th of Septmber 2011, by MyFIRE Consortium and its Brazilian partner IPT.

On September 12-14, the Futurecom event will be organized in Sao paulo, the most awaited event of the Telecom and IT industry in Latin America. MyFIRE project will join to the event and organize a workshop. The main objective of the workshop is to identify possible relationships which could be established between the EU FIRE community and Brazilia future internet research communities, with a focus on the testbed.

Key questions discussed during the day are:

  • To what extent does experimentation and testing support the definition of the Future Internet?
  • Why are test beds so important?
  • What are the ideal test-beds in future Internet research & experiment?
  • How should their exploitation be optimised ?

You can access to the whole agenda and all the presentations below.

In addition, the workshop has rewarded two Brazilian research teams with cooperation projects with FIRE experimental facility. To read more about the winners of contest and the opportunities of cooperation between European and Brazilian research teams, click here.
