BII, founded in 1999, is one of the first high-tech enterprises oriented to internet and telecommunication in China, which evolved from Beijing Internet Institute built by returned students and Government staff engaging in Internet research under substantial support of State Council of China.

The business field of BII is as below: IPv6-based intelligent remote surveillance system, wireless sensor networking, Green energy-saving technology, IPv6 testing certification, v4/v6 transitional solution, VPN, TMT industry chain service, conference and tutorials and so on. BII has established solid cooperation with Institute of Acoustics, CAS, BUPT, BJTU, Qinghua Universities in the academic circle and also key industries of China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo, Intel, etc to accelerate internet and wireless broadband technology deployment and commercialization in China. In 2008, BII has been awarded as the "Advanced Unit in High-Tech Olympic" and "Z-Park First Innovative Company"

Involved Staff

Mr. Liu MingisR&D technical director and product managerof BIIGroup in China; And also the technical director of TTCN-3 Asia Forum. With background of Science, he joined BIIGroup as an engineer in R&D department, work for development of Go4it project in FP6. During two years, it is a great chance to enhance his understanding of IPv6 network, test mechanism and TTCN-3 language. After that, he join the CNGI (China Next Generation Internet) program and lead Tester project for developing a test device for protocol testing of next generation internet. Because of these experiences in TTCN-3 area, after TTCN-3 Asia Forum built in 2008, he joins the forum and work as technical director. Besides, based on his understanding of IPv6 area, he work as a product manager and take responsibility of designing IPv6 related products like virtualized IPv6 access and IPv6 Website updater program. And in international cooperation, he has great contribution of technical consult in IPv6 Ready program and IPv6 Enabled program of IPv6 Forum.

Mr. Liu DongisCEO and President of BII Group. He is also the Co-founder and Board of China Internet Society, Member of Expert Working Group of China Next Generation Internet Project (CNGI Project), the Director of WiMAX Forum China Region. In December 2002, composed "Practical Internet Law Practice", published by the Central Communist Party Press. In 2001, Participate in composing "Telecom Administration Analysis Report", published by the Xiyuan Press. In April 2004, he was granted as the "IPv6 Internet Pioneer" by Vint Cerf on behalf of Global IPv6 Forum. In 2005, "Top 100 Elite", granted by SINA.COM (China largest Portal). In March 2007, he lead BII Group win "Innovative Enterprise", granted by Beijing Municipal Government, China Science and Technology Ministry, China Academy of Science. In December 2007, he lead BII Group to win "First Grade Award" for IPv6-Based Video Surveillance R&D and Olympics Innovation Application Project. Granted by China Communications Society of MIIT.
